He holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and completed his medical and doctoral training on parallel tracks, giving him a rare footing in both clinical practice and machine learning research. His peer-reviewed work on machine learning robustness and clinical AI has appeared in venues including the Journal of the American Medical Informatics Association (JAMIA) and the International Journal of Medical Informatics.
